Marble Shower Restoration, Isleham, Cambridge

We were called out to take a look a customers Marble Shower in Isleham, Cambridgeshire which was in a sorry state.

Unfortunately the client attempted to clean the chrome with an unsuitable chemical for Marble, leaving the surface of the tiles badly etched.

Marble is a calcium stone, which is a sensitive stone to anything acidic. you should use a Neutral Tile Cleaner to safely preserve the life of the Stone and remove any standing water to prevent lime scale build up.

To correct these tiles we have had to cut it back using Diamond Blocks followed by Honing the surface to a high standard closing the pores of the stone, Last stage is polishing the surface to get desired sheen.

upon completion we speed dry the areas restored to be able to apply a couple coats of impregnating sealer, this will also help towards ongoing maintenance.
